The 2008 International Mathematical Olympiad was held in Madrid, Spain.
New Zealand was represented by Jingcheng Bian, Ben Kornfeld, Thomas Li, John Bernard Ong, So-Young Park and Tom Yan. The team was accompanied by leader Michael Albert, deputy leader Heather Macbeth, and manager May Meng.
